The Kub Kar Regional Finals will be held on Saturday, March 25th at the Aurora Legion. The Kars that race in this event will be those who finished in the top half of the races held on March 3rd.

Closing Barbeque

6:00 p.m. Woodland Trails, the paddock.
All 5th Aurora Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and their immediate families are invited to attend our annual end of the year celebration. Enjoy the great BBQ food and campfire with other 5th Aurora families, and register for next year.
Cost: $5.00/person or $15.00/family. Bring lawn chairs.
Youth moving to the next section will participate in a small ceremony at the BBQ.
There will be an opportunity to pre-register for the fall.

AURORA STREET SALE

Every year the 5th Aurora has a booth at the street sale to talk about Scouting and show off Baloo's campfire blanket, etc. The booth is usually manned by Akela and Bagheera but we would appreciate any assistance from parents who might be willing to help out for an hour or two during the day.
If you are interested in volunteering, please speak to Akela Terri or Bagheera Tracy.

Sun Block Bug Repellant
(If possible, please no sprays – as they are not good for the tent material)
Clothes - dress for expected weather
Two or three changes of clothing Underwear (enough for 3 days)
T-shirts 3-4 Long Pants & shorts
Socks 4-5 pairs Track pants
Pajamas – 2 pairs (extra for emergencies) Splash Pants
Running Shoes (& extra old pair if available) Rubber Boots (if available)
Sweatshirt Jacket / Rain Coat
Campfire Blanket (if available)

Miscellaneous

CANADA DAY PARADE

Come and participate in Aurora's Canada Day Parade. We are a walking group. Meet at St. Andrew's Shopping Centre between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. as the parade starts at 10 a.m. Show your Canadian spirit by wearing your uniform!
